Every Little Detail

Do you ever  get that strange feeling of not really knowing yourself?Maybe looking into the mirror and wondering why?
Why did you get upset about something so little?
Why don't you ever know what you really want?
Why do you feel this way?
Why...?

Do you ever wonder what if...? What if I wouldn't have married this man?
What if I would have gone to a different school?
What if I knew everything I need to know?
What if I would have said hi to that person?
What if ...?

Do you ever feel like people don't really know you?
If they did, they would give you a call on that depressing day.
If they knew you well, they would understand what you meant by what you said or did.
If they knew  you well, they wouldn't call you that nickname that you so much hate.
If they knew you well,...

Finally, do you ever wonder about simple things in life?
Do you ever wonder how can those lilies be SO beautiful?!
Why does a lit candle look so romantic?
Why are dogs so loyal and friendly?
Do you ever wonder about the hard things in life?
How are you going to make it for next month's rent?
Where will you be in the next 5 years?
What if something happens to mom or dad?
Why is it so hard to make real friends?

Our knowledge of things is limited. We can only see so far ahead.
We don't even know ourselves as well as we think we do.
It is frustrating, dicouraging, depressing, and even makes us angry.

Acts 15:18 "Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world."

However, all those questions have an answer.
We may find out some of  them at some point in life.
Yet, God knew them all along.
He knows the answer to every single question you have.
He knows every little detail. That gives me hope.

He knows every bird on the sky and all creatures on earth.
Psalm 50:11 "I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine."

He even knows everything about you.
Every single detail about you, because He made you.
Matthew 10:30 "And even the very hair of your head are all numbered."
He knows your thoughts, your desires, your every word even before you say it.
He know how you feel, what bothers you, what you enjoy, what you wish.
Nothing scapes him.

Psalms 139:2-4 says:
"You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
   you, LORD, know it completely."

The God almighty, creator of everything around us;
who feeds the bird and dresses the fields with wonderful colors.
He who makes the sun rise every morning and moon shine every night.
He who provides rain for the crops to grow, and
knows the every move of each and every one of the animals and insects on the planet.
He knows you by name, and is aware of even every unintentional move you make.
He knows you well. He knows you better than you know yourself.
Although He knows every little and big thing about you, every secret sin, every motive,
He still loves you.
You do not need to be something you are not. He loves you just the way you are.

Psalm 25:8-9 says
"Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way. "

The Lord knows you and everything He does for you is because He loves you.
He is good.
Not good like the world knows a good man, or good food.
Because He is good and knows you intimately, He knows what is best for you.
Because He knows how you feel, what you want and more so, what you need -
All His thoughts are only of good for you.

Look around you and notice every blessing you have received.
It came from our Father in heaven.
He knew what you needed.
He knew what you wanted.
He knew what was best for you.
His goodness and righteousness is our hope and peace.
How wonderful to know that we are fully known. Nothing scapes Him.
We don't have to be afraid anymore. His eyes are upon us.
His love is perfect and everlasting.
He knows every little detail.

"Before they call I will answer, while they are yet speaking I will hear." Isa. 65:24
